Conv ocatoria a la 34 Feria Internacional del Libro de La Habana
El Instituto Cubano del Libro convoca a la 34 Feria Internacional del Libro de La Habana, a celebrarse del 12 al 22 de febrero de 2026 en su habitual sede del Parque Histórico Militar Morro-Cabaña, con la premisa martiana «Leer es Crecer».
En esta ocasión, el evento estará dedicado al centenario del natalicio del Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro Ruz. El programa teórico del evento incluirá variados espacios entre los que destacan el Salón Profesional del Libro, donde sesionan el Taller Nacional del Librero y el Encuentro de Editores y Traductores Literarios. De igual forma, se realizará el Encuentro de Historiadores y los coloquios de Ciencias Sociales y de Salud Humana y Medio Ambiente. Además, en el marco de la celebración, tendrá lugar el Encuentro de Jóvenes Escritores de Iberoamérica y el Encuentro de Promotores de Poesía.
Comprenderá también espacios como el Pabellón Infantil Tesoro de Papel, el proyecto Cuba digital y el Foro de Negocios. Todos los actores del ecosistema del libro encontrarán en la 34 FILH 2026 el lugar propicio para la exhibición, promoción, comercialización y negociación de la literatura cubana y extranjera a través de la diversidad temática, de géneros y formatos, así como la interacción cercana con sus principales receptores, el público lector.

This time, the event will be dedicated to the centennial anniversary of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. The theoretical symposium includes several specialized spaces, such as the Professional Hall, which, in turn, hosts various professional workshops and symposia, such as the Booksellers Workshop, the Workshop of Editors and Translators, and the events Cuba Digital, the Symposium on Periodical Publications and Digital Media, the Young Writers Meeting, the Historians Symposium and the Colloquium on Environment and Human Health, as well as the Encounter of Young Ibero-American Writers and the Symposium of Poetry Promoters.
The Fair includes special venues such as the Children Pavilion Paper Treasure, the project Cuba Digital and the Business Forum. For stakeholders of the book industry the 34th FILH 2026 will be the ideal venue for exhibiting, promoting, marketing, and negotiating Cuban and foreign literature including a diverse range of topics, genres, and formats. The Book Fair will provide as well the possibility of close interaction with the readers.
